David [00:00:00]:
Good morning everyone. We are still looking into Psalm 65, 11. Wow.
David [00:00:26]:
This is week four of our study of this verse. And I’m excited today about where we’re going with it. Today we’re going to talk about how God has crowned you with his goodness. But first, let’s review a little bit. You know, I mentioned that the last Sunday in December when we first started this study, that how what I was sharing relates to the new year to 2026, which we’re into right now. And as I said then, in the beginning of November, during my morning devotions, I was reading Psalm 65 and the Lord stopped me at Psalm 65, 11. And as I read this verse over and over and over, I heard the Lord say, this is your 2026 Focus. This is what I want you to bring to the body of Christ.
David [00:01:23]:
So study it, meditate on it, pray over it, and teach it. And that’s what we’ve been doing last week, or not last week. A few weeks ago, we began looking into what it means to crown something or someone. And we saw that this is a blessing from the throne of God, a blessing by royalty, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. God’s word to us is this. Here’s what he said to me. I’m going to encircle, cover, surround and wrap this year with my dignity, honor and favor. Day to day, week to week, month to month, from the highest place of authority, the throne of God.
David [00:02:09]:
I decree this. So know this. We’re not moving through 2026 on our own. We’re moving through 2026 under the covering of God’s authority to dignity, honor and favor. I want to encourage you, I’ve shared this with you before, but I want to encourage you again to get up every day, every morning this year and declare, I am moving through today under the covering of God’s authority, dignity, honor and favor. Wow. And that is true. That’s what God has for you.
David [00:02:51]:
We also discussed that this year is defined by seasons. So we’ve got, you know, we’ve got spring, summer, fall, winter. We’re in the, the last few weeks of winter here in Tennessee and I’m looking forward to spring. And so we looked at the fact that a season is far more than just simply a period of time on the calendar. A season is a divinely appointed window, a God ordained moment in which he who reigns over every season accomplishes his specific purposes and his people and history. So Ecclesiastes 3:1 speaks to us because it says to everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. For 2026, God has crowned the year for his intended purpose, his plan, and his purpose and plan includes you. Then we begin to focus on what he has crowned this year with.
David [00:04:04]:
His goodness. Simply put, the definition of good or goodness is God’s character. It is the full expression of who God is. The psalmist David is saying, here, God, you crown the year with the fullness of who you are. All you are are invested in. This year, this past week, or actually a couple weeks ago, we began to explore the second half of this verse. Your past strip with abundance. Hallelujah.
David [00:04:43]:
And that word, paz. Your paths is defined as God’s way, a course of action, a lifestyle. It’s where God walks. So where God walks, abundance follows. Wow. This phrase paints a picture of land so blessed that the ground is dripping. It’s overflowing with provision. This verse goes on to say, your paths drip with abundance.
David [00:05:17]:
They drip with abundance. Drip means a flow, an overflow. It means fatness. It means blessing. It means abundance. Wow. God is saying, this year, if you follow me, if you walk in my path with me, I will lead you in paths that drip, overflow, increase, that are blessed with abundance.
David [00:05:46]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:05:47]:
I want to see that. I want to see that in your life. For you, I expect it in my life every day. I get up and I want to see that. Hallelujah. Now, we’ve also talked about how to position yourself for a crowned year. The first thing we saw was if you want the king’s crown, you have to walk in the king’s way. Follow the king.
David [00:06:12]:
Second, expect God’s goodness. Third, we walk in his obedience. So if you. If we want abundance, we want to stay on his path. Let the word of God guide us. Let the Spirit guide us. Let obedience surround us and protect us. And fourth, practice gratitude.
David [00:06:36]:
I can hear brother Jackie right now going, amen. And so gratitude doesn’t just celebrate God’s goodness, it reveals it. Gratitude turns not enough into more than enough. It transforms your vision so you can recognize God’s abundance. Hallelujah.
David [00:06:55]:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
David [00:07:02]:
And so today, as I mentioned a moment ago, as we begin to. To discover that while God is crowning this year with his goodness, he is also crowning you with his goodness and abundance. And so this goes so deep, guys, it may take Me a couple weeks to fully flesh this out. But here’s what I want us to see. God has crowned you with goodness. So let me read Psalm 65:11 to you again. You crown the year with your goodness and your paths drip with abundance. And so here’s a significance of royalty crowning someone.
David [00:07:51]:
And we’ve talked about this. When we were talking about what it mean to be crowned, it was this. It’s a blessing from the throne. God is blessing you individually from his throne this year. If you expect it, walk in it and believe it. You’ll see it. In Scripture, the image of a crown is deeply symbolic. As we said before, it represents honor, authority, identity and favor that is bestowed by a king.
David [00:08:26]:
When royalty crowns something or someone, it isn’t just an ornament placed on the head. It is a public declaration of value, worth, and destiny. God is speaking forth and showing forth how he values you, what your worth is and your destiny means to Him. And this is referring to that place of divine authority where all true authority flows from the highest authority. In the beginning, humanity was created and crowned with glory.
David [00:09:10]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:09:11]:
In the beginning, Adam and Eve was crowned with glory. Psalm 80, verses 5 and 6 in the NLT says this. Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority. Now, in some translations that says you made them a little lower than the angels. But that is the only place in Scripture that that Hebrew word was translated, angels. I think the translators were trying to hold back a little, but everywhere it’s the Hebrew word Elohim. And Elohim means God.
David [00:10:01]:
So what it’s saying here is, father, God, you made us a little lower than you, and you crowned us with glory and honor. God gave us charge of everything he made, putting all things under our feet, under our authority. We all know the story of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. So in that moment, sin, distorted authority. Listen to this. Sin, distorted authority. And Satan robbed us of what our Father God had given us. But yet God had a plan.
David [00:10:41]:
God had a plan. And I love the way Paul describes this in Ephesians. This is Ephesians 1:338 in the NLT. And it says this, all praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, in the heavenly realms, because we are united with Christ. Even before the world he made. God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and and without Fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
David [00:11:34]:
So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his son, forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us along with all wisdom and understanding. Wow. He has given us all wisdom and understanding and showered his kindness upon us. Jesus didn’t just forgive us. He restored us to our place, our position that God intended for us. He restored our royal identity.
David [00:12:23]:
You can get up every day and while you’re looking in the mirror, you can look at yourself and say, I am royalty. I am a child of God. I am a member of the Kingdom of God, a citizen of heaven.
David [00:12:38]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:12:40]:
Glory to God. Ephesians 1:19 23 in the NLT. Listen to this. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now, he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or. Or anything else, not only in this world, but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the Church.
David [00:13:26]:
And the Church is His body. It is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself. So we see Jesus is seated in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all authority or power. And you might be thinking, well, that’s cool, David. What has that got to do with me? Well, let me ask you this. Where are we seated? We’re seated right there with Him. Yeah, we are. Ephesians 1:3, NLT.
David [00:14:05]:
Now, I just read this, but let me say it again. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. So if he’s blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms because we’re united with Christ, we’re one with him, and he’s one with us, then we’re there with Him. That’s where we’re seated, right? We’re seated in the place of honor in Christ at God’s right hand. Well, Paul goes on to confirm that, let’s look at it. Ephesians 2:6 in the NLT says this. For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in heavenly realms. Because we are united with Christ Jesus, far above all authority or power.
David [00:15:03]:
Wow. Have you thought about that? Have you pictured yourself there, seated with Christ, in Christ, at the right hand of God? Paul confirmed it right there. You are crowned with a royal crown of heaven. You were crowned with honor, authority, identity and favor. You were seated with Him, a member of the royal family. And I say to you now, do not let the enemy, do not let Satan rob you of that right and that identity that you have in Christ. Ephesians 1:22,23 NLT. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the Church.
David [00:16:00]:
You’re the Church. This is for your benefit. And the Church is His body. It is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things, everything with Himself. You are in Christ and He is in you, making you full and complete. Nothing missing, nothing broken. All the honor, the authority, the identity and favor of mankind was crowned with before the fall. Jesus has restored us.
David [00:16:32]:
Let me say this again. All the honor, the authority, the identity and favor mankind was crowned with before the fall. Jesus has restored us. The apostle John shows us this in the book of Revelation when he says this in Revelation, chapter one, verse five and six. And this is in the new King James Version. And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness the firstborn from the dead and the ruler over the kings of the earth to him who loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
David [00:17:21]:
Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Because of the sacrifice he made on the cross and the shedding of his own blood, he made us, restored us as kings and priests to His God and father.
David [00:17:39]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:17:41]:
Hallelujah. Say this with me. I am crowned by my father, God and the Lord Jesus Christ, my Redeemer. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. That’s another thing you can get up and say every day. I am crowned by my father, God and my Lord Jesus Christ, my Redeemer. Praise God.
David [00:18:06]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:18:08]:
So as we continue today, let’s look at four powerful truths about God crowning us with his goodness. Hallelujah. The first one is this. A crown represents identity and authority. A crown is given by a king to someone who belongs to his kingdom. If we’re Believers in Christ, we’re a part of the family of God. We belong to his kingdom. Colossians 1:13, 14 in the NLT says this.
David [00:18:44]:
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Hallelujah. He has purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. He’s transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son. When God crowns you, it means several things here. Number one, it means you belong to Him. Ephesians 1:5 in the NLT says this. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.
David [00:19:33]:
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
David [00:19:40]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:19:41]:
You belong to him, and that gives him great pleasure. It’s what he’s always wanted. That’s why Jesus came, so we could have life with him, so we could have what God intended from the beginning. We can experience it right now. We don’t have to wait till we get to heaven to begin to experience this life with Him. You belong to the Most High God and to the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. Hallelujah. Number two.
David [00:20:20]:
You are accepted by him. You are accepted by him. Ephesians 1:6 in the New King James Version says this to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he made us accepted in the beloved. We are accepted into the family, into the beloved of God.
David [00:20:43]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:20:45]:
You don’t have to get anybody’s approval. You’ve got God’s approval.
David [00:20:50]:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
David [00:20:53]:
You are accepted. You’re not less than. You’re a child of the Most High God. The third thing here is you are set apart for his purposes. Jeremiah 29:11. I love the way it says it here in the passion translation. Jeremiah 29:11. Here’s what Yahwah says to you.
David [00:21:19]:
I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you. A future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you, but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope. Glistening with hope.
David [00:21:41]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:21:43]:
And so, going back to what we said a crowning meant, a part of what it means is to encircle and surround you. It’s all around you.
David [00:21:54]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:21:55]:
God is saying, I’m gonna surround you with my peace and my prosperity. I’ve crowned you with peace and prosperity and giving you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.
David [00:22:10]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:22:11]:
Those are great promises, things we can rejoice about every day. Glory to God. Look what the Lord has done. Proverbs 19:21 in the passion translation. A person may have many ideas concerning God’s plan for his life, but only the designs of God’s purpose will succeed in in the end. Only God’s plan is going to truly succeed in the end. Praise God. Second Timothy 1:9, the Amplified classic.
David [00:22:44]:
For it is he who delivered and saved us and called us with a calling in itself holy and leading to holiness, to a life of consecration, a vocation of holiness. He did it not because of anything of merit that we have done, but because of and to further his own purpose and grace, his unmerited favor, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began eternal ages ago.
David [00:23:18]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:23:20]:
Before time began, God had already ordained all of this. You were already a part of this purpose and his plan. Philippians 1:6 in the Amplified Classic says, and I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, right up to the time of his return, developing that good thing, that good work and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. God wants to perfect you. God wants to bring fullness in you. We just have to surrender to him every day. God, whatever you have for me today, I’m ready. Let’s go.
David [00:24:06]:
I want to learn. I want to grow. I want to be more. In fact, I want to be all you created me to be. Hallelujah. Being crowned represents your identity in Christ, who you are, a child of God, a member of the royal family of God.
David [00:24:30]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:24:32]:
And God places His own glory and honor on your life. Because of this, you walk in God’s authority. This is something only royalty can do. Which leads us to our second truth. Here, a crown signifies favor from the throne. God crowning us with his goodness is an act of favor from him to us. Psalm 5:12 in the new King James Version says, for you, O Lord, will bless the righteous with favor. You will surround him as with a shield.
David [00:25:17]:
There it is again. To be crowned is to be encircled, to be surrounded, to be covered, to be wrapped. So he’s surrounding you as if he had a shield all the way around you with his favor. You can’t go anywhere without his favor going with you. Acknowledge that, receive that, believe that, expect that. Walk in that.
David [00:25:49]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:25:51]:
Kanye and I do this all the time. We’re going down the road and we hit a green light. We hit all the green light. Father, thank you for your favor. Thank you for your favor. We go somewhere, we get a great park. Father, we thank you that we have parking spot favor. It’s amazing how many great parking spots we get.
David [00:26:10]:
Praise God. Praise God. God surrounds us with his favor. Psalm 5:12. Same verse, but in the Passion translation. Listen to the way it says it here. Lord, how wonderfully you bless the righteous. You are the righteous.
David [00:26:28]:
He blesses you. Your favor wraps around each one and covers them under your canopy of kindness and joy. Praise God. A canopy of kindness and joy covers us. His favor wraps us. There it is again, one of the definitions of being crowned. His favor wraps us and covers us. Hallelujah.
David [00:26:58]:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
David [00:26:59]:
You’re crowned with his favor.
David [00:27:04]:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
David [00:27:07]:
To be crowned with favor means this number one, I choose you. Ephesians 1:4, in the amplified Classic, even as in his love, he chose us, actually picked us out for himself as his own in Christ, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, consecrated, and set apart for him, and blameless in his sight, even above reproach, before him in love. Listen to that, folks. He picked us out for himself. He chose us before the foundation of the world. He consecrated us, set us apart for Himself. He sees you blameless in his sight, above reproach. You stand before him in love.
David [00:28:06]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:28:08]:
Glory to God. You ought to be dancing and shouting right now. Praise God. Praise God. Look what God has done. He chose you. I remember growing up, we. Because of Dad’s work, we moved a lot.
David [00:28:24]:
We’d move into a new neighborhood. So for a long time there as a young boy, I was always the new kid on the block. And I remember we’d be out and everybody’s going to play ball. Now we’re going to play softball, baseball, whatever. And they’re picking teams. Well, I’m the new kid on the block. They didn’t know anything about me. And I knew, okay, I’d learned, all right, that’s all right.
David [00:28:52]:
They’re going to pick me last. That’s okay. But then I’d get up there and I’d start playing. I’d start batting, I’d start doing what I did. And by about two or three games in, they were picking me first. And then they were going, david, you’re a captain of one of these teams. You pick the team. And I just.
David [00:29:14]:
I just waited to let it happen. I didn’t try to force it. I was just being who I was. We just have to go forward in life and be who God has made us to be. Quit trying to prove yourself to everyone around you. All you have to do is do what God asks you to do. I remember Tom Ziglar, who’s a friend of mine. He’s the son of Zig Ziglar.
David [00:29:42]:
And Thomas told this story a lot. He said dad would go out and speak, and there would be thousands there. And he said he’d come off stage, and he said they would give him sometimes two or three standing ovations. He’d come off stage, and I’d ask him, dad, what you think? How’d it go today? And he goes, tom, I studied. I did what God asked me to do. And if God is happy with this, then I’m happy I’ve done what God asked me to do. Wow. That’s a place to live from, guys.
David [00:30:21]:
That’s a place to live from. First Peter 2. Nine in the passion. Translation says, but you were God’s chosen treasure priests who were kings. A spiritual nation set apart as God’s devoted ones. He’s called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.
David [00:30:58]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:31:00]:
Hallelujah. That’s one of the reasons we’re here today. That’s one of the reasons we have our online services and videos and things. We’re broadcasting his glorious wonders throughout the world. God has chosen you. Back this year, I think it was back in March, not this year, but this is. We’re in 26 now. Back in 2025, March of 2025, Kanye and I were at a conference in Paducah, Kentucky, and she’d gotten up early to get ready to take her shower and do her hair and everything she needs to do to get ready.
David [00:31:43]:
And so I knew I had about 20 or 30 more minutes before I needed to get up. And I. One morning, I rolled over, and when I rolled over, it was like I was asleep, but I was. I knew I was in heaven. I was in heaven, and I knew it. And there was God in front of me, and he pointed at me like this and said, I chose you. I chose you, and I choose you. And boom, I’m awake again.
David [00:32:24]:
And I’m laying there praying, going, okay, God. Okay, God. Okay, God. He goes, you don’t need the accolades if they come, great. Appreciate them and enjoy them. But you don’t need the accolades. You don’t need the credentials. You don’t need the approval of all those around you and everyone out there, look to me.
David [00:32:51]:
I am your God and I chose you. I got all the credentials, the approval, everything I need because I am crowned with his goodness. Hallelujah. What a revelation. What a revelation. Guys. God chose you. You are a chosen one.
David [00:33:12]:
God’s favor surrounds you. It shields you every day. That word shield here can mean divine protection and guidance is one of the definitions of also symbolizes not only physical protection, but divine power and authority working in your behalf because of God’s favor on you. His divine protection, guidance, power and authority surround you and shield you. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God.
David [00:33:53]:
And that’s true every day. It doesn’t matter what you’re going through. Like we said before, the situations that we are going through aren’t the way we’re going to measure the year. We measure the year by who’s walking through us, through it with us. And God is walking through 20, 26 with us. And you have his divine protection, guidance, power and authority surrounding you and shielding you because you have his favor. He chose you. The second thing here in his favor is he chose you.
David [00:34:40]:
The second thing is he delights in you. God delights in you. Zephaniah 3:17 in the passion translation says, Yahweh, your God is inside you. He is a warrior savior who takes such delight in you that it will make him leap for joy and shout with great gladness. Yes, he will soothe you with his love. He will sing over you his song of praise. God sings a song of praise for you. He rejoices over you.
David [00:35:20]:
He wants to soothe you, bring peace to you with his love.
David [00:35:25]:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
David [00:35:28]:
I can remember holding my grandchildren and singing and just holding them close, rubbing their arm, and they just get quiet and snuggle up. God wants to do that for you. God loves you that much. Psalm 149,4 in the NLT says this. For the Lord delights in his people. God delights in you. You can say, God, thank you for delighting in me today. The Lord delights in his people.
David [00:36:04]:
He crowns the humble with victory.
David [00:36:08]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:36:10]:
God is delighting in you today, singing praises over you, and he’s crowned you with victory. I don’t care what you’re going through, what the enemy’s brought, or what anybody else has brought, what the circumstance is, what the challenge is. God has crowned you with victory. We look to him and begin to praise him for victory.
David [00:36:32]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:36:34]:
To delight means this. He is pleased with you. He takes pleasure in you. He enjoys you he approves of you. He is affectionate toward you.
David [00:36:48]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:36:50]:
God is all that and more and he just wants us to come to him and receive it. Praise God. So favor means that God chooses you. He delights in you. And the third thing is this. He empowers you. Empower means to function in power and authority with boldness and confidence. God has empowered you.
David [00:37:22]:
Now he wants you to go forth in that power and authority with boldness and confidence. Ephesians 3, 10, 12, the amplified classic. The purpose is that through the church, the complicated, many sided wisdom of God and all of its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities, principalities and powers in the heavenly sphere. This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which he has realized and carried into effect in the person of Christ Jesus our Lord, and whom, because of our faith in him, we dare to have the boldness, courage and confidence of free access, unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear. Think about that, what this is saying, guys, you have free access. You can come into the throne room of God with boldness, courage and confidence. My grandkids, I’m going to go back to them. They come into our house.
David [00:38:39]:
They don’t come in going, is it okay if I’m here? Thank you for having. No, they come in and open the free. What do we got? Nani, did you get something for us? Do we have chicken nuggets? Papa, where are we going to go? They come in with freedom. They come in with unreserved courage and confidence and boldness. God says, come to me, come to me. Boldness is unflinching authority even in the face of opposition. He says, you can come and stand before that thing with boldness and exercise authority in Jesus name. That reminds me of the verse in Ephesians, Ephesians 6, 13 and 14 in the amplified Classic.
David [00:39:27]:
And Paul’s describing. He’s talking about spiritual warfare here and God’s armor. But there’s a phrase here I want to share with you. It says, therefore, put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger. And having done all the crisis demands to stand firmly in your place, stand, therefore hold your ground. Having tightened the belt of truth around your loins, and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right, standing with God. Now let me read this part of that again. And having done all the crisis demands to stand Firmly in your place.
David [00:40:22]:
Stand, therefore, hold your ground. That phrase, there was a phrase, that was a Roman military phrase that Paul used, and what it meant literally was this. Once you’ve done all, and it says here all the crisis demands, it meant once you’ve done all to win the victory, stand firmly in your place of victory. Stand, therefore, and hold your ground. That’s your ground now. You’ve won the victory. And so what Paul is saying here is we come with unflinching authority in the face of. Of opposition that the enemy Satan is bringing against us.
David [00:41:09]:
And we go, ah, Jesus already defeated you. This is my ground and you’re not taking it. You can’t have it. You have no right, no authority, no dominion here. I command you to be gone in Jesus name. Praise God. Boldness, unflinching authority. Jesus took care of everything on the cross.
David [00:41:37]:
He didn’t hold back every situation. Everything has been dealt with and we are free in Jesus name. Ephesians 3:12 says, we dare to have the boldness, the courage and confidence of free access. An unreserved approach to God with freedom, with, without fear. Courage and confidence in the Greek depicts absolute confidence. There’s no shadow of turning. There’s no doubt, there’s no wondering. Absolute confidence.
David [00:42:14]:
One who is doubly persuaded, convinced to the core, rock solid, certain, trusting God completely. That’s what that means there. That type of courage and confidence is yours. And God is saying, come on, come on, come on. I chose you. I delight in you. I’ve empowered you to go forth. So to summarize all this, let me say again.
David [00:42:49]:
Being crowned represents your identity in Christ, who you are, a child of God, a member of the royal family, and God places his own glory and honor on your life because of this. You walk in God’s authority. There is a place for you in God’s kingdom. And this is something only royalty can do. And the king of kings and the Lord of lords has brought it to pass. So it is ours. And God our Father, goes, come on, come sit with me. God surrounds your life with his favor, like a royal crown.
David [00:43:38]:
Favor you didn’t earn, but he freely gives. He has chosen you. He delights in you. He has empowered you. You are crowned with his favor. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God.
David [00:43:57]:
Hallelujah.
David [00:44:00]:
Next week we’ll go into the other two principles we’re talking about here. We dove into four key things here about God crowning us with his favor. So what we want to talk about next week is the next two. And so we will get into that. But know this. Let me say this again. He has chosen you. He delights in you.
David [00:44:25]:
He has empowered you, and he has crowned you with his favor. Praise God. Let’s bow our heads in prayer. Father, we thank you for all that you’ve done for us. We thank you for your goodness that you’ve crowned us with this year. We thank you for crowning us with an identity that tells us that we are your children, we’re a part of the family of God. We thank you for crowning us with authority, the highest authority. It’s been delegated to us through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
David [00:45:01]:
And in Jesus name, we have it all. And we thank you for crowning us with your favor, Father God, for choosing us, delighting in us, and empowering us to, to go forth and be all that you created us to be. Praise God. God, we thank you for a mighty, dynamic, powerful year that you want to bring this year. And you’re inviting us to be a part of it. So, Father, we commit ourselves to you, to walk in your paths that will drip with abundance as we follow you throughout every day of this year. And we thank you that we grow and become all, all, Lord, you desire for us to be, and we represent you and your kingdom well, bringing glory to your name every day. Thank you for it, Father, in Jesus name.
David [00:45:57]:
So be it. Pastor Conia is coming now with a closing thought and word. God bless you. Go have a great week. Highly favored.
