It’s time to worship now with our giving, our offering, and worship just continues here. I want to share a little thought with you before we take our offering up today: having faith in the unseen. So much of our life, whether we realize it or not, every morning you get up and step into the unseen. While we may have a plan or an agenda for the day, there are still the unknowns that happen along the way. We deal with the unseen, the unknown, every day. A little quote I came up with that I’ve taught many times is this: your dreams reside, and your future is found, in the unknown. As much as we do know about today, there’s a lot we don’t know about today. So we go forth in faith, knowing that God has gone before us, and He’s working for us, and He’s showing us the way.
Mark 4:26-28 in the Passion Translation says, “Jesus also told them this parable: God’s kingdom realm is like someone spreading seed on the ground. He goes to bed and gets up day after day, and the seed sprouts and grows tall, though he knows not how. All by itself it sprouts, and the soil produces a crop, first the green stem, then the head of the stalk, and then fully developed grain in the head.” That’s God’s principle of seedtime and harvest, and it goes on around us every day in every dimension of our life. Mark 4:29: “Then when the grain is ripe, he immediately puts in the sickle to the grain, because harvest time has come.” We’re living in harvest time right now. I go out driving, and they’re harvesting corn and all the crops they’ve got planted, and that excites me. I love harvest time. Harvest time is yours. Every seed you sow — whether it’s a kind act, something you do with your creativity, your talent, what you do financially — every seed you sow, the Lord sees it, and He blesses it and brings it back to you. Harvest is coming. God’s kingdom is seedtime and harvest, sowing and reaping. Our whole life is sowing and reaping. If we sow bad things, the consequence is bad results. If we sow good things, we’ll get good things. That’s life. So we plant seeds, trusting God to bring the return from the unseen, from what we don’t see. And so we do that in faith. Seeds grow in hidden places. In the unseen, God is already at work. Even though you can’t see it, God’s already there and He’s at work. When we give, results are rarely immediate. It’s not a drive-through thing. The harvest is coming. In our society today, we’re like, where is it? Why isn’t it here already? So make this declaration with me. I trust You, Lord, as my source and supply. I will always have more than enough to give to every good work, because from You all blessings flow. Thank You for multiplying the seed I sow and increasing the fruits of my righteousness. Amen.
If you’re on our live stream, go to our website, EmergeInternationalChurch.org — there’s a button in the top right of the website that says Give, and it shows you the options you have to sow today. If you’re here with us live, there’s a QR code in the bulletin you can scan, or we have an offering basket here for cash or a check. Let’s bow our heads in prayer. Father, we thank You that even though we can’t see it, we know that You’re working on our behalf in the unseen and the unknown, bringing about a harvest with the seed we sow, a multiplication and increase that makes a difference in Your kingdom, Lord. Thank You for the privilege of partnering with You. Thank You for blessing us beyond measure and multiplying the seed we sow and increasing the fruits of our righteousness, Lord. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving us beyond measure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
So many reasons to thank God. So much He’s done for us. Every day, it’s happening all around us. God is there with us, blessing us. I may have shared this before, but sometimes in little ways and sometimes in big ways — two things come to mind right now. A little thing: we went to the Whole Foods grocery store a few weeks back, and it was packed. It was a day when everybody in town was there, and it was hot. And lo and behold, I had prayed, God, help me find a good parking space. And right down front, I pulled in and let Pastor Conia out. She gets out of the car, and I look, and right there at the first parking spot in the row right in front of me, under a tree, in the shade, was a space. I pulled right up there. I’m right up front. So when she came out of the store, she was like, wow. I said, I know. Look what the Lord did. He blessed us with His favor.
But another one, talking about the unseen and the unknown. We had finished one of our events earlier this year, and we were all going out to dinner. We pulled into the drive toward the parking lot of the place we were going, Garcia’s. There’s a cross street right there with a stop sign on each side, because when you pull into the drive off the main highway, you have the right of way, so you just go straight through. We were heading straight through, and a car on the other side is coming, and it doesn’t stop. It comes through the stop sign. And guys, my foot’s going down to hit the brake, and I literally feel something pushing me, holding me back. And the car passes, and I looked at Conia and said, that was an angel. Even with my foot fully on the brake, with the speed we were going and the speed they were going, we should have hit them. And we knew it was an angel. He was protecting us. We didn’t see the car coming. They must not have seen us, or thought we were going to stop, whatever. They came blowing through. But God was there in the moment, and we just started rejoicing and praising God.
Lord, we lift up our friend John Rouse. He’s in transit today, coming here to Nashville, and he texted me this morning and asked for prayer. Father God, we pray protection over him. Thank You for being with him, protecting him and bearing him on his way, surrounding him with Your ministering spirits and preparing the way before him. We praise You for that, Father. Amen.
You know, Psalm 65:11 has been our verse this year, and I’d like to have us declare that right now. Say this with me: the Lord crowns the year with His goodness, and leads me in paths that drip with abundance. And that word “goodness” in the Hebrew means all that He is. And to crown us means He wraps us, He surrounds us, He covers us, He holds us. Think about that. God has got you wrapped, covered, surrounded, and He’s holding you too. Just like I’ve done, and still do, with my grandkids — especially one of them likes to come and sit in my lap, and she won’t talk to me. She just won’t say a word. She just comes and cuddles and lets me hold her. It’s such a precious thing. Pastor Conia’s got a great picture she took of us sitting on the back porch. God wants to do that with you too. He does that every day with us, and we don’t even realize it.
Today we’re starting a new series. The title is, “The Blessing of Living God’s Way.” Your Father God has not left you without direction. We discussed this last week when we talked about His purpose and plan for us. He’s already got it mapped out, figured out, and documented. And He is ready to share that with us as we come before Him, pursue Him, and ask Him for insight. He’s laid out a way for every one of us to live a blessed life. Over the next few weeks, we will gain insight into several key scriptures that speak to God’s way. We’re going to drill down into what the Lord gave to Israel as their template for living and how that applies to us today.
But first, let’s define God’s way. Turn to Isaiah 55, starting in verse 8, from the New King James Version: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Read that several times and you come up with this: God’s way is more and better. That’s the bottom line right there. In the NLT, Isaiah 55:8-9: “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” That makes me laugh. My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts. Okay, Lord. Our friend Joey likes to say, ask God to show me how good it can get. Well, right there He’s telling us, Joey, it goes far beyond anything we can imagine. “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” And from the Message translation: “I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work. For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think.” So God’s way of being, doing, having, and giving is far beyond ours.
Now, I’m going to warn you right now: the teacher side of me loves to study the Hebrew and the Greek. During this series, we’re going to drill down into these words and define them so we get clarity on exactly what they mean. When God’s talking about His thoughts and our thoughts, here’s what that word means in the Hebrew: thoughts — the ability to devise. Devising is the power to create a purpose, a plan. It is the power of invention, that which one meditates on or plots. It’s a power of intention and creative work through the imagination. It means insight, understanding, wisdom, and intelligence. We all have that capacity within us to think creatively, to devise a way to do things. We do it every day. But what the Lord is saying here is His capacity to think, to devise what needs to be, is way beyond our current reality. However cool it is in our current reality, God’s way beyond that. My brother has one of those cars where all he has to do is walk out and click his key fob, and the car will crank up, back out, come around, and find him. It just pulls right up and picks him up. We know who did that. Thank you, Elon. But we think about that and go, oh wow — and God goes, you haven’t seen anything yet. I’m so far beyond that. There is more. There’s more for you. The potential to think higher is within you. So don’t give up. Don’t give in to worldly thinking and decide, well, this is it, this is who I am, this is all there’ll ever be. God is more and better. In any moment, God has more for you. He’s right there with you. We just have to trust Him and look to Him.
Second: His ways. The word “ways” in the Hebrew means His path, the way He walks, His course of life, His manner of living, His lifestyle. Think about it — God’s got a lifestyle, just like I’ve got one, you’ve got one. His mode of actions or undertakings. His moral action and character, which speaks to His relationship with us. His sense of duty and focus. His creative activity. All of that is a part of His way. Simply put, the way He lives and acts — His way of being, doing, having, and giving — is higher. As I studied, I was reminded of the verse we began this year with, Psalm 65:11: “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” His paths, the way He walks, drip — in the Hebrew, that means they overflow. They’re fruitful. They multiply. Wherever He steps is fruitfulness, increase, and multiplication. It may look like a barren path ahead of us, but God says, walk with Me, and all of a sudden things begin to come to us and happen, and we go, man, where did that come from? How did that happen? His way of relating, acting, taking responsibility is higher. His focus is love, and the way He loves is far greater than ours. We’re learning to walk in His love. One of my Bible apps today, paraphrasing from Galatians: do good to everyone today — and it said everyone, so you can find a way to do good to everyone every day — but it goes on to say, especially those who are of the faith. So especially to the believers you’re with: do good. Make them smile. Love them in some way. As Isaiah 55 says in the NLT, “My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” That always takes me back to Ephesians 3:20 in the Amplified: by My power that works in you, I can fulfill My purpose for you superabundantly, far over and above anything you dare think or imagine — infinitely beyond your highest prayers, thoughts, hopes, dreams. God is always more, more, more, beyond anything we can think or imagine.
His thoughts and His ways are higher. That word “higher” means to be lofty, high and lifted up, exalted. His thoughts, His ways of doing things, are high and lifted up and exalted. It means to soar, like an eagle soars high above on the winds. To a greater degree of dignity and honor. His thoughts and His ways have a greater degree of dignity and honor than mankind’s. It also means to take courage, to go beyond — not letting fear step in and limit your thinking or keep you from taking action. If God says, come on, let’s go, we get up and move. We go. And that takes us higher. God desires to take us higher. He wants us to soar, to go beyond. Our youngest granddaughter, Kate — she’s quite the adventurer. She was two years old, and they’re all out there on the swing set, and I’m pushing with all my might. Kate is as high as I can get her, and she’s going, “More, Papa, more! Higher, higher!” And I’m thinking, if I go any more, you’re going to wrap around that thing. But that’s what God wants — that desire to go higher and to be more. God put that in us. Don’t let the world system or people around you squash it or rob you of it. As I read and study these verses, my heart yearns to know more. My desire is to think like the Lord thinks and walk in His way. The writer of Psalm 25 says it in verse 4: “Show me Your ways, O Lord. Teach me Your paths.”
So how do we do that? Let’s begin the journey. Psalm 32:8 in the Amplified: “I, the Lord — Jehovah, that’s what that means — will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” Now let me say this: God has His way He wants us to walk, but in the midst of walking in His way, He has a special way for you. The way you walk out what He has called you to will not be exactly the same as that person walking with you, or your best friend. But He has a perfect way for you, and He says, I will instruct you and teach you how to walk in it. “Instruct” means to give insight to, to give understanding, to give wisdom — which brings success. Joey, I’m not picking on you this morning, but it just reminded me of something else. God showed you how to take those weights people were giving away and getting rid of, and repurpose them, and clean them up, and make them available to people who wanted them — and they were able to buy them for less than new, and God blessed you in the process. That’s a great example of what the Lord’s talking about here. And then it says, “I will teach you.” Teach means: I will pour into and point out to you how to apply My wisdom, informing and directing you in how to flow in all I show you. We talked the last couple of weeks: God has a purpose and a plan for you. But He doesn’t just say, here it is, go. He says, here’s the way to do it. I will teach you and show you how to walk it out, how to flow in it. We’ve just got to keep coming to Him every day, going, okay, Lord, what do we do today? How do we walk out today? Who do You want me to be today?
So He will instruct and teach us in the way. That phrase, “in the way,” means My path, the way I walk, My course of life, My manner of living, My lifestyle. God can show you how to live like He lives right here on the earth. He’ll show you His mode of actions and undertakings. His moral action and character — here’s how you relate to everyone around you; here’s the right way, the blessed way to do it. His sense of duty and focus. God is responsible for us. He takes responsibility for us. So He’s got a sense of duty and focus about us. How do I serve My children? How do I love them? Scripture asks us the same thing: how do we serve the Lord our God, and how do we love Him? Well, He is our heavenly Father. One of the things my brothers and I have loved doing is serving our parents. How do we serve them? How do we love them? My mom still serves us and loves us, and even when I’ve got more than enough on my plate, she still walks over and says, honey, you need this. And I’m like, okay. Thank you for loving me, Mom. God is very aware of His duty, His focus. He also wants to show us how to let His creativeness flow through us. His way of being, doing, having, and giving. He wants to show you how to walk in all He desires for you, who He created you to be. And then it says He’s going to show us how to walk in the way, so that we can go. And that word “go” means to live, to proceed, to move forward, to be who we were created to be.
But wait, there’s more. He goes on to say, “I will counsel you.” That word “counsel” means advise. I will advise you. Just come back to Me every day. I’ll give you advice. I know I’ve taught you how, but if you’ve got a question of how to best do it, ask for My advice. King David went out against the Philistines right after he’d been anointed king over all Israel, and he said, Lord, how do we go? And God said, meet them in the valley head on. I’ll be with you and you’ll defeat them. They did, and the Philistines ran. A few months later, the Philistines thought, oh, they were just lucky that time. We’re going to get them this time. And here they come again. And David went to the Lord and said, Lord, do I do it the way we did it last time? And the Lord said, no. Go hide in the trees and surround them and come in behind them. God gave David advice on the best way to go forward and win the battle. And He will do that for us each and every day. He will counsel us. Now let me say this before I ask you: do you agree that God knows everything? He knows everybody. He knows where we are. He is all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful. So why wouldn’t we ask Him the best way to go today? He already knows. Why do we try to think it up ourselves and figure it out? He said, “I will counsel you with My eye upon you,” which means: you’re His child, and He watches over you. You are seen. You’re in His sight, and for your sake He is watching over you. That night in that parking lot when we were going to Garcia’s, God had us in sight, and He was watching over us. And the angels came and stopped me from hitting that car. I’m getting chill bumps thinking about it. God wants to do that for all of us. So when we read Isaiah 55 and study it, it’s a little overwhelming — God is higher, His thoughts are higher, His ways are higher. But here in Psalm 32:8, He says, but I’ll show you the way. I’ll show you how to walk in My way and come up higher. That’s what He’s saying.
Another promise is Proverbs 3:5-6 in the Amplified Classic: “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind, and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” There it is again — the promise. The first word: trust. Lean on and trust in. Come to the Lord with confidence and boldness. There are things Pastor Conia and I do, and I trust her so much, I come to her with confidence and boldness and say, Conia, this needs to be done, and I know you can do it. And she can, and she knows she can — God’s given her that talent and ability in those areas. God wants us to come to Him with everything like that. Lord, I’m coming to You with confidence and boldness, knowing that You’ve got this. You’ve already got a plan. You’ve already got a way. It also means knowing you are secure in Him. You don’t have to be afraid. You’re in Him, and He’s in you, and He is your hope. If we lean into Him, if we trust Him, if we come to the Lord with confidence and boldness, He will direct us and make straight and plain our paths. That other word: rely. Do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Don’t lean on or trust in yourself. Most of the time when we’re trying to figure it out ourselves, we don’t have a lot of confidence and boldness. We’re just, how does this work? Our wisdom, our insight and knowledge, as much as we may have, God’s is still higher. You may have a good framework, a good plan, but God’s going to take that and show you how to do it better. So we come to Him with it. In all your ways — that word “all” means totally, the whole, in every way. Know, recognize, and acknowledge Him. That night that car ran in front of us, I didn’t just go, thank God the brakes worked. No — I knew. That parking place I got — there were so many cars coming and going, anybody could have gotten that spot before me, but they didn’t. So I gave Him glory for it. Sometimes when traffic’s heavy, we’ll be going down 96 here in Franklin, and I’ll hit every green light, and I just start praising God, because I know this God. God put me in a place where the timing was right. He made straight and plain and smooth my path. God is at work in every dimension of our lives every day. We just need to recognize, know, and acknowledge Him. God, I know You are working through me to make this happen, because without You, it couldn’t have happened like this. This is one of the keys to walking with Him. He is always with us. Look for all the little things happening around you — they are signs of God taking care of you. With all your heart. And the heart there is your spirit and soul — the seat, the foundation of our mind, our will, and emotions. So with our spirit man and our mind, our will, and emotions, we’re going to lean on, trust Him, and be confident and bold in Him. And if we do that, He directs. He points you. He shows you the right way, the smooth way, the straight way. Sometimes we pick a way, but it’s not easy. We get there, but we’re toiling to do it. God’s going, you don’t have to toil. Come on, I’ve got a better way. He will direct your paths, and that word “path” means your way of living, your way of coming and going. God will show you how to live life in a way that your lifestyle is so much better. Conia and I have looked at one another so many times: did you think it could be this good? Did you think God could redeem our lives in a way that it would be this good? And now we say what Joey says: Lord, show us how much better it can be.
Isaiah 48:17 in the Amplified: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way that you should go.” That first phrase, “thus says” — in the Hebrew that means a call, a challenge, a charge, a command. It’s the same word used when the Lord blessed Adam and Eve and said. So the Lord is saying: I’m calling you, I’m challenging you, I’m charging you, I’m commanding you, so that I can teach you to profit and lead you in the way you should go. There is so much out there to distract you, and there are people who will tell you a hundred different ways to live life. But I’m telling you: I created all this. I know the best way. And so, just like a parent — my son used to say, hey Dad, can I go down the street and play with my friends? Yes, you can, but you’ve got to clean your bedroom first. Oh, I can do it when I get back. No. And he hated this, the quote I always gave him: responsibility precedes privilege. Responsibility precedes privilege. God is saying, come — I’m calling you, I’m challenging you, I’m charging you, this is the way, I’m commanding you. That word “Lord” in the Hebrew means Jehovah, the self-existent One, the One who is eternal. Nobody created Him. He is self-existent and eternal. The Lord, your Redeemer — that word “Redeemer” in the Hebrew means your kinsman Redeemer, your relative who avenges you and pays the price and ransoms you from whatever debt may be against you. The Lord is saying: I’m your Redeemer. I’m your kinsman. I’m your family. I’m by your side. The Holy One of Israel — “Holy One” means the One who is set apart. He has set Himself apart for us. To be sacred, sanctified. There’s no one like God. The Holy One, the Sacred One, the Sanctified One has set Himself apart to teach you and instruct you and show you how to profit. The Holy One of Israel — “Israel” means God prevails. The Holy One who prevails, who overcomes, who is victorious for His children. Even in the name — when He changed Jacob’s name to Israel, He was saying, I’m here for you. I’m your Father. I prevail on your behalf. And God is saying that to us today. And then, “your God” — you are Jehovah’s special possessions. Peter said this in 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special people.” That’s how God sees us. And He comes to teach us. Our Lord God is the skillful instructor who is diligent in instructing us in His way. He wants to transfer His skill to you. I was praying that this morning: God, let me speak this in a way that brings understanding. I want Your words, Your heart, Your voice, Father, to flow through me. He wants to transfer His skill, His wisdom, His understanding, His knowledge to all of us.
“He will teach you to profit.” That word “profit” in the Hebrew means to be valuable. He will teach you to be valuable. To bring value. To avail, to be successful. To be profitable — receiving value in return for the value given. Mr. Zig Ziglar called those certificates of appreciation. We call it money. But what He’s giving us is not just a bunch of money. What He’s giving us is the wisdom to bring value to others, to love others, to bless others — and then we get a return and a harvest on that. As James said, if you lack wisdom, if you don’t feel like you know the way, ask. And God will liberally give you His wisdom, and He doesn’t judge you for that. He doesn’t go, my goodness, Corrie, you asked for wisdom yesterday, and here you are again. When are you going to learn? No. He goes, sure, come sit with Me. “And He will lead you in the way.” Lead means to show where to go, how to go, when to go, and how to overcome. It’s just that simple. Here’s where you need to go. Here’s how you’re going to get there. Let’s do it. Let’s go that way at this time. And here’s how you’re going to overcome in the process. And the way — the manner, the habit, the lifestyle, the moral character, who you should be and become. He will show you the way to go — the path you should follow, who you should come forth and be. Joey, God’s going to show you the path He wants you to go down and who you should come forth and be. You may learn from those around you, but you’re not going to follow my path. And if you try to follow my path, it isn’t going to work, because God didn’t create you to follow my path. We may work alongside each other, but God has a special way for you.
As we look into these verses, we see God’s heart to empower us to live the life He came to give us, to be all He has created us to be. God has so much more for us. God has a plan and a purpose for us that far exceeds anything we can imagine. So how do we get there? There are two verses that reveal the answer. We’ve been looking at Isaiah 48:17, but Isaiah 48:18 gives us insight into how God instructs us: “Oh, that you had hearkened to My commandments! Then your peace and prosperity would have been flowing like a river, and your righteousness like the abundant waves of the sea.” He’s talking to Israel here, but what He’s saying is: if you listen to Me and follow My commandments — My charge, My call on your life, My instruction, My guidance — and walk in it, here’s going to be the result. If you’d done it the way I said from the beginning, you would be flowing in success, flowing like a river that never ends, like the abundant waves of the sea. That word “commandments” means instruction. But it’s like a law. God’s instruction is a command. It’s like a law because it’s the way life works. It’s not about rules and regulations. It’s like in physics: we have the law of gravity. Thank God for the law of gravity. But we also have the law of lift. And if we know how to implement the law of lift, guess what happens? We can fly. God is saying: My commandments, these instructions, are the laws we live by. This is how life works, how it should work. God empowers us to live the life He created us to live by His Word that He’s given us.
And if we go back to Isaiah 55, from the Message, verses 8 through 11: “I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work. For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of My mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, and they’ll complete the assignment I give them.” What He’s boiling down here is: My word works. Follow My way, My instruction, My commands, My laws. It will work. God’s word is working in us and for us right now today. God’s word causes us to grow, to blossom, to be productive, to multiply, to increase, and be all God made us to be. Our ability to maximize our potential for God is right here in the Word He has given us. The promise is in the Word, and the promise is fulfilled through the Word. As we put the Word in us, and meditate on it, and walk it out and learn to walk it out, God’s way comes, and His promise is fulfilled. That’s how it works. That’s how we learn and grow.
Now, this is just the beginning. All I’ve done is lay the foundation today. Next week, we will begin to look into the power of God’s Word working in us, through us, for us, and with us, and we will continue this journey — the blessing of living God’s way. There are notes there in your bulletins. If you need notes, we’ll be glad to send them to you; all you have to do is email us — there’s a place on our website where you can email us and ask for those. But I want you to go back — Isaiah 55:8-9 especially, and Psalm 32:8, and Isaiah 48:17. Those three verses especially. Spend some time this week looking at them, reading them, meditating on them, journaling about what God’s showing you. Because that is the foundation for going to that higher place where God lives, and He wants for us to live also. Amen? Let’s bow our heads. Father, we thank You for this time in Your Word today. Thank You for showing us all that You have for us, and that there is a way to get there, Father, and that You are more than ready to share with us Your wisdom, Your insight, Your revelation, Your understanding, by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. As Your children, we come confidently and boldly to You today, Lord, and say: teach us. We surrender ourselves to You. Show us Your way, Father, so that we may walk in it and represent You well here on the earth and see Your kingdom come here. We thank You for that, Father. In Jesus’ name, amen. Pastor Conia is coming now with some wisdom and a prayer. God bless you. Have a blessed week.
Well, Pastor David had us declaring today, and there’s a lot of power in our words. I think in our Christian ease, we often say, oh, I’m under attack. I’m under attack. The devil’s got, the devil’s got… But what we’ve discovered here today is we are clearly under blessing. We are so much more under blessing than we are under attack. So I’m going to challenge us today: we need to get up and go, I’m under blessing today. I’m under blessing today. When everything is going right, we kind of just scootle along. But if something goes wrong, oh, I’m under attack. But we should get up every morning — Pastor David gets up every morning and says, this is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. And I think we can add to that: I’m under blessing today. I’m under blessing today. So today, you’re under blessing. And I love that for you. And walk in everything. These notes are so meaty, you probably could have made four services out of them. Let’s pray. Father, thank You that we’re under blessing today. Thank You, Lord, that that is what You put us here for — to bless us and love us and watch us walk out Your ideas, Your witty inventions, Your creativity here in the earth. Lord, thank You for allowing us to participate in all of that. And thank You for bringing the joy in the midst of every single thing. We love You, Lord. We praise You and we thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen. Y’all have a great week.
